I have a single gate with a FAAC 800 underground motor with a FAAC E145 control board. Installed about 18 months ago and has worked well since then. It's coupled to an AES app-controlled intercom system.
Recently the gate has started requiring multiple presses of the "open" command on both the remote fobs and the phone app. This leads me to think it's not the intercom at fault, given that the remotes are displaying the same fault. Mechanically the gate is sound and there are no fault codes displayed, fob batteries are good. Can anyone shed any light on what else could be causing the fault? I'm told it could be a capacitor...? Does that sound feasible?
