Nice MC424 control box interface to intercom access
#1
Hi All,
This is my first post so please go easy!

I need some help trying to connect intercom access to Nice MC424 control box: I see there is an AUX connection but no START or OPEN so I'm a little confused...Sad see attachment, if it worked, I read in the manual you can program the AUX to carry out various different modes, however still unsure.
I don't know which intercom would be best probably Videx 4000 Series audio kit?
Thanks in advance.

You could wire the output of the Itercom into pins 11 (common) and Pin 15(step by step) this will trigger the gate to open. However make sure the output from the Videx Intercom is voltage free or it will cause damage to the Nice MC424 .

Thank you Mark for your prompt reply, I didn't realise the STEP BY STEP was for this...I thought it would only move the gates in stages. I would have expected OPEN or something but the MC424 doesn't have this. I bear the voltage free in mind when hooking up the intercom!
