GPS/Distance Based Gate Opener

Hi.. I have a sliding gate at the moment which is very slow. I live on a busy road and it can be pretty dangerous. I was wondering if anyone knew of a product that was either really long distance as my current remote/receiver combo is pretty useless and the gate is really slow.. Or ideally whether there was some kind of app or GPS based receiver that would open when it knew your car was approaching?
Think I may have made up a product but here's hoping! Any help much appreciated!

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for your enquiry, we would expect to achieve 20 meters range from a transmitter and receiver for a gate system as long as there is no interference in the area. If you needed to trigger the gates from a greater distance i would advise you to use a GSM controller which would enable you to dial to open off a mobile phone or use an app to trigger the gates however i wouldn't advise you to do this while driving.
