Er 10 code on RIGEL 6 control unit

Hi, I have dual opening gates using Rigel 6 control unit. The gates have suddenly stopped opening. I have checked the following: Power ok, alternate methods of remote opening which are received at the control unit. Infra red sensors not obstructed and all cables connected. Interior of control unit seems completely dry.
I do see an error code Er 10 in the control unit but the user manual does not reference this error code.
Does anybody have any ideas on what could be causing the problem and how to fix it please?
