Impulse versus permanent “push button” remote control

I have a gate controller “mindy A400” (by “nice”).
I don’t know why, but suddenly, the gate control unit became to respond only to the remote control by permanently “push button” pressing, instead of clicking once (impulse).
At least, by pressing permanently, the gate is activated to open or to close. Yet this is odd and not interesting, as it doesn’t follow the normal operating procedure.
Does anyone have a clue on what may have happened, and on how to solve it?
