Hi Paul,
On the gate system you have, I would reccomend to clear the memory on the receiver. This will be located in the control panel down by the gates. You do this by going by the following instructions:
01. Press and hold the receiver key and check the following
changes in Led status:
– (after approx. 4 seconds) the green led illuminates;
– (after approx. 4 seconds) the green led turns off;
– (after approx. 4 seconds) the green led starts flashing.
02. At this point release the key exactly......
• on the 3rd flash, to delete all transmitters, or,
• on the 5th flash, to delete the entire memory of the
receiver, including configurations and encoding families of
the transmitters.
Once this procedure has been done you can reprogram your existing remotes by pressing the programming button on the receiver for around 2 seconds and releasing, then press the button on the remote you wish to use. The other button on your remote is just used in the case of any more NICE automation being added to your property. In this instance you would be able to program one button to operate your automated gates and the other to operate, say a garage door opener.
