I dont know the Gate System you have so cant comment on the correct connections.
But general rule is on the keypad unit of the intercom will be a voltage free ouput which then would connect into your start terminals on the gate control board and then this will trigger the gates no problem.
The Connections are usually maked in the instructions for your automation systems
