This is a new one for me. I replaced one of the liftmaster motors a sub 300m with what I thought was a genuine one but is in fact a motor made by IDRO. Its 12 month since install and yesterday gates were closing but side on right as you look out was moving about 6 inches farther than left when in the closed position. I opened the motor covering and found that the gate
stop had broken in half!! Here are 2 pics.
What would cause it to break so soon? Wrongly fitted or ..
I bought this part from easygates in April 2021 but fitted with new motor April/may 2022.
is it possible to buy a spare?
Also can I place a piece of metal in front of motor arm and use that as a gate stop?
Motor was fitted by a proffessionsal.
