Nice MC800 Wiring issue

HI All

I'm hoping you can help, I have had a issue with my MC800 unit and read the manual and decided to do the silly thing and factory reset the unit. all seems fine until i pressed the fob to open the gate. the gates will not open and its down to the unit needs reprogramming.

The issue im facing is the engineer has install a photo in the closed terminal, and the closed led is always on.
if i remove the photo cell the gates work, it was install and working before i reset the unit.

what setting in the config do i need to change to get this working,
The process i had or im hoping to have is.

1. press button gates start to open ( done )
2. gates keep open for 5 seconds. (done )
3. gates starts to close one gate closed slower ( wind issues ). ( think i have done not sure )
4. if one of two photocell are broken or the bump bar is hit stop the gates and reset to open (  hold for 5 seconds the start to close again ). ( i believe this is done already buy jumpers ? )
5. gates closes locks magnet. ( not done )

Hi All
I have found and fixed the issues,
The issues was our bump bar ? still have to replace this or fix. but i have just disconnected for quick fix.
Editing the NICE controller i have setup the system up.
