<p>So how do you decide what’s the best age for you to go skydiving? The best way to find out is to talk to an experienced skydiver and find out their minimum age.</p>
<li><strong>Returning to duty</strong>: In the event that a pilot was removed from active duty due to a positive drug test, they would also have to take (and pass) a drug test before being able to fly upon their return. For obvious reasons, the FAA wants to verify that a pilot with a previous history of drug use is now completely drug free before allowing them to fly again.</li>
<p>You’re more likely to burn more calories if you have more weight than your friend or partner who has less weight. This is because a larger body creates more surface area and drag resistance in the water, so you’ll need more energy to push through the resistance. This then increases your heart rate and of course, higher caloric use.</p>
<li><b>Where is the company based out of</b>? As you read in the previous section, popular tourist destinations almost always raise the price of skydiving and other local attractions. You might find a better deal near a small airstrip than you would near Los Angeles or Las Vegas.</li>
<p>A big difference in skydiving experience has to do with the altitude of the jump. The standard altitude for a sport tandem skydive is from 12,500ft (about 2.4 miles) above ground level. This means about 50 seconds of freefall before deploying your parachute. If you’re looking for even more excitement, look for a dropzone that offers a “High Altitude” option. For example, a 17,500ft high altitude skydive can offer up to 80 seconds of adrenaline-filled freefall.</p>
