proteco system...receiving signal

Hi,ive had my proteco gates for approx 5 years,recently signal distance to get gates open has reduced to 0..u have to take fob to receiver main box before gates will open were as before would work from approx 20m..batteries in fob are fine...is there a sensor unit in mains box thats easily replaced??..

Hi

Do you know which version of control board you have? It could be a Q36 or a Q60R or a Q60A/R?

If you have the newer version of the control board the Q60A/R then the receiver can be replaced but on the older version you would need to purchase a stand-alone receiver unit that would need to be wired into your control board to allow you keyfobs to continue working.

These units are available for around £33+vat + delivery .
