D5131GB FAULT
#1
can anyone help.
I have the Came electric gate system.
I had 5 days away on vacation.
On my return the intercom phone handsets
Will not open the gates. It's as though they have lost the
Signal. Yet the intercom external button rings the phone.
All display is working and shows gates opening when pressed.
These are the Diatem which are used with the Came F1100 system. Yet the small remotes all work and the exterior keypad.
Any ideas.
Thank you Carlo

Hi.
I have not had any replies as of now.
I did send the details to Came who replied it probably is the wiring in the control box.
They say prob need to fit all new.
But drastic I thought.

The gates have been ok for 12 month.
Again they have lost connection to the phone handsets. When I press the little button in the control panel and within 20 secs press the intercom button. It connects by sounding the beeps. But then within 20decs pressing the two buttons on the phone intercom the handset is supposed to beep letting you know it's connected. There is no beep. I've checked and renewed the 4 LS20 batteries.
Any advice
Thank you CARLO

hi
the easiest way to chek where is the problem . You have to lokalize wchih pairs of wire is a signal one .If that signal is pottential free(coming from relay ) you can try manuali just cross two wires together for short period of time (1s) just to see if gate will start .

how long thr signal wire is ? over 50m long ?

if you have ohm meter you should check rezistanca in that wire ,have to by about 1 ohm ,to check this you have disconect wire frome both side ,after cross one side (end) and conect the meter parallel

Have you tried to reprogram to the controller.

I have tried again today to get the handsets to acknowledge the signal.
It did for one time show the digital screen accept. And when I pressed the button on the external intercom sounded the chimes on the handset. I thought that was success. Then after that it didn't do it again.
I went through the procedure a dozen times trying to connect with no joy.

Sounds like a faulty handset
