Faac 452 pcb board

Hi I have a faac single leaf gate controlled by a faac 452 pcb board 
Today the gate would not close 
I opened up cabinet and found that the mcb feeding the gate had tripped upon reset nothing happened 
I found that the 5amp fuse on pcb board had operated 
What would cause this fuse to blow 
I will replace tomorrow and hope that this will sort issue 
If it blows again we’re do I go from here replace pcb or what else could be causing this fuse to blow

Thank you for your enquiry.

Could you confirm if it is the fuse below the transformer or at the top of the control panel in the middle of the board.

Also what accessories do you currently have in the control board, this sometimes can have back feed into the control board blowing the fuses and if it is the accessory fuse and you have safety sensors then this would explain the issue as it is probably taking out the sensors which is why the gate will not close due to a safety precaution, there is a way to test if we can get the motor moving by linking out the safety connections if you need to me show you how that is done please email me on technical@easygates.co.uk and I will send over some images.

Furthermore, are they underground motors that you have? Sometimes I have noticed once the box fills up with water they tend to do things such as blowing the fuses etc.

Hi thanks for reply I replaced 5amp fuse below transformer and it worked for 2 months up until today
It keeps blowing the 5amp fuse there was a lot of rain last night so I think there might be water getting into the motor connections as the pcq board housing is dry
Can you confirm that this fuse is for the motor
