Hi: I have a sub gate opening system on my gates . The model includes slowdown & hydraulic lock.
The gate have been installed for about 10 years with normal domestic use.
My problem is that the first gate is slow to start opening and starts to move just before the second gate starts to open .
The hydraulic pump activates immediately, but it seems to have to build up the pressure before the gate starts to open.
I initially thought that is was lack of oil, but it only needed a small amount to top up. Topping up the oil made did not have any effect on the fault.
The second gate works perfectly - pump starts and gate starts to open immediately.
This gate is slow to react on both the opening and closing sequence
I suspect that some sort of internal seal is faulty and I would be grateful for any advice .
Thanks
