Is this about "opening pressure"? Or do we need to fit an opening limit stop (like a large rock?)?

This Gate System Will need open and close stops or it does not have a fixed possition to open too and can over run resulting in the gate not closing properly. This is a general rule for most Arm type motors that they need fixxed stops to move against so they cannot go past there limits. Using this system without the stops may cause damage to the hydraulic seals in the motor and would be a very expensive repair. I would disable the system and get stops fitted then reprogramme the system to work to the new limits.
