Board showing red dot when transmitter pressed, not opening though

Hi guys!

I wonder if anyone can help me, i have fitted proteco 3TI kit to my gates, all working fine when i turn the key to start them but cannot use the remote to get the gates open. The board flashes a red dot when i press the remote showing there is a link but it doesnt open the gates. Could anyone please shed any light on this?

Hi,

Most of the time, this would be a safety issue (Most likely the photocells) i'd check that they are working as they should.
