Liftmaster Professional CB24 / LYN400 24v - RPM Reversal Error

Hi been running the above system for 6 years now with virtually no problems. All of a sudden I have got the RPM reversal error. Gates open about 20 degrees then stop. Think it is a problem with arm (gate) 2 as it errors if I try to set open limits. If I disengage motors both gates open and close smoothly by hand. Can anybody help !!

All you can do is check and make sure the cable or any cable connections are not corroded or shorting out. Other than that you will need a New Arm as the rpm sensor is embedded inside the motor windings and the motor is very difficult to change. Easier and cheaper soloution is a replacement Arm.
