Wireless intercom
#1
I've picked up a cheapo digiteck wireless intercom, works ok for the money and can run off batteries alone or transformer, when its running off a transformer the caller unit has a 12v +&- wire, I think its more for a door lock but could this be used to open the gates on the CB24 board?

Sorry for all the thick questions. Rolleyes

If you are sure this is a switched output,
You need to wire this 12 v output to a suitable relay(12volt dc, into the coil terminals, normally marked up A1 and A2), run a cable to the control panel, on the relay use 1 core to the common, and another core to n/o. then at the cntl panel end, use the same 2 cores into open and common.

should work.....

Thanks Carl think I understand, as for the switched output, the handset indoors has a unlock button on it to push?.
