SCS300K Arm Sticking
#1
Hi all. one of my Liftmaster SCS300K arms to my driveway gates keeps getting "stuck" whilst the other side works perfectly.  Sometimes the "sticky" arm is delayed a few seconds compared to other arm and ends up only partially open.  Other times, it does not open at all and I have to attempt to open/close the gates 2-3 times before it responds. When it does respond, it sometimes opens fully and other times opens only partially.  I have tried lubricating to no avail.  Any suggestions?  Help much appreciated.

Hi,

I would recommend swapping the motor outputs around to see if the fault carries.

Hi Jake. Thx for the reply. Excuse my naivety but not sure what "swapping motor outputs" means. Do you mean to swap around the rams? For context, the both rams take power (ie: hum) when requested but the "faulty" ram waits 1-2 seconds before screw starts to turn as if it is stuck.

Hi,

You can always give us our tech team a call on the number below to go through fault finding at a convenient time for yourself. The motor outputs are on the board where the motors are wired into.
