Gates not closing

Hello,
Grateful for some advice please. 
I have a Came U1800 system with a ZA3  control board. 
Gates will open using remote (new batteries & paired to system), but will not close when pressing remote.
Green led on control board is flashing.  Gates try to close briefly,  but then return open as if there is an obstruction. 
1 set of sensors on outside of Gates are clean (tx was full of ants). No change after cleaning. 
Bit confused as Dipswitch 5 is OFF.
Gates had been working fine until recently. 
Many thanks for any guidance to sort problem.

Hi, I just replied to your email about my problem. Just to add to that, in case you were unaware, the picture I've attached shows you how to disable the sensors in order for the gate to close.
Bridge across 2 and C1
Use this info with care as obviously it will still close regardless of what is in the way.

Many thanks for your reply.
I've now resolved the problem after talking with a Came technician based in the UK.
He suggested that I link terminals C and NC in the Receive photocell. This would give a quick result to identify whether the problem was with the photocells themselves, or the cabling to the photocells.
On opening up the RX photocell I found the grey wire from another terminal to terminal C was broken.
I re-established a good connection of the grey wire into terminal C, now the gates operated correctly in all functions.

Ooh, I'll check that out. Sounds possibly different to my problem, but anything is worth a look. Thanks
