MC824H with Toons - learning process

Hi hope you can help.
Just installed this but at this stage have nothing connected other than the arm.
I go through the learning process, set the gate at half way point, it duly opens then closes, the opens again and stops. I expected it to close then it would have learned. I press open close buttons but nothing. I'm sure I must be making a simple mistake. I have dipswitch set for 4 for to5024, have also tried dipswitch 1. Appreciate any advice/help.
Once I have achieved this I will then add bluebus/remote, etc.

Hello,

All that is required is to change the polarity of the motor cables swapping the blue and brown cores. Complete the process again and the gate will end in the closed position.

Worked a treat. You can also attach gate arm to a 18v power tool battery to test.
