smart relay BFT ALTAIR

Hi I am new here so sorry if this isn’t the right place to ask this but I have a BFT altair automatic gate opener. My question is if it is possible. To open/ close the gate with a smart relay like a shelly relay. I know a thing or two about automation but I am new to automating gates and control boxes. I looked in the manual but couldn’t really find anything there please point me in the right direction.

Thanks for the message. 

Providing the unit is an Altair P and the device being connected supplies a dry contact of No and Com you will need to use connections 17-20 for your relay contacts.
