To open the gates wirelessly,
I made a sketch in arduino using a buck converter (connected to the 24v output of the mca2) + esp8266 + relay board.
Gates can be toggled from a web interface of the esp board. (relay closes for one second)
If anybody is interested let me know.
Total cost is under 10 $ for the required parts and seems very reliable so far.
You only need wifi signal at the gate, or send a pair of wires from the place where esp8266 has signal.
