Hi,
I am in NZ and finding it difficult to get someone to service my gates.
I have very heavy wooden and metal gates with 2007 Installed hydraulic motors in the ground. One of the gates no longer has any tension in it, it swings quite freely in the wind. On opening and closing it doesn't quite make it to the stop position, maybe because it runs out of time as it is going slowly. Can anyone give me any guidance as to troubleshooting, what may be the problem/solution?
To access the motors the gates would need to be taken off, which would be quite a mission based on their weight.
I have tried the winding key supplied, turned the little 3 sided screw completely to the left and the right, it made no difference to the tension in the gate. I am not 100% sure what that key is for so at any rate!
I tried the company website, but couldn't find any trouble shooting manuals and their education area was blank.
Thank you.
