I am fitting BFT Lux BT 2B rams to my driveway gates and would like some advice on how to overcome the following problem:
The installation diagram shows the gate leaf hinge pivot point set inside the supporting pillar, the fixing position ( a and b) for the rear bracket can then be found by referring to the table. However, in my situation the gate leaf hinge pivot point is at the back of the supporting pillar making the measurement ( x ) from the diagram in effect minus 30mm. Using the BFT adjustable rear bracket will only give me a maximum of 85mm for ( b ) and referring back to the table the minimum measurement for ( b ) based on 90 degree opening angle is 125mm.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
