Hi there!
I have an iron gate that's run by a FAAC 740.
The house is on a slight slope; so when the door was first built, there was some problem with keeping it closed - it would close, and then slide back a foot or so..
Eventually the installer fixed it by tilting the track..
It worked fine for a year, I think until I sprayed some grease onto the rack-and-pinion assembly from outside. Now it slides back just like it used to
Any ideas what to do? I tried spraying all kinds of things -- degreasers, automotive brake cleaners, etc, but the door keeps sliding open after I close it
I would appreciate any feedback..
