Easygates, Nationwide electric gate automation, access control and safety supplier, have produced a 3D animation tutorial video on KMG force testing equipment.
The video has been created by the in-house creative team at Easygates as a valuable aid and reference point to installers of gate automation and promotes the importance of safe and responsible installations of automatic gates.
The tutorial covers a brief introduction on automated gate safety and force testing, legislation and why it is important to perform a force test on automated systems and an introduction to the KMG force tester system and functions. The tutorial then goes on to show three automated situations including sliding gate, swing gate and garage door and how to correctly use the force testing equipment.
Managing Director of Easygates, Tony Daniels-Gooding said: ‘We have spent a substantial amount of time and money on producing this tutorial and really believe in the value of sharing this information with the industry to ensure force testing equipment is used consistently and correctly. We all have a responsibility to promote safe and proper usage of automated systems and as members of the Powered Gate Group and UK competence partners of ASO Safety Solutions equipment we want to lead by example. ’
‘The KMG LITE is a great example of force testing equipment that we highly recommend and are able to offer the best trade pricing on via our dedicated trade website www.easygatesdirect.co.uk.
Easygates have over 25 years’ experience in the industry and specialise in gate automation, safety solutions and access control.
