safety edge problem

Hi folks first time posting
I have a problem with a bircher safety edge on a set of steel gates the batteries are only lasting about 2 weeks causing control panel to go into fault condition (came ZLJ24) I suspect faulty transmitter any help would be appreciated

Hi,

I would first test all safety edges on the system. Disconnect them and test for 8.2kohm on each one. If this is correct then it will be either a battery issue on the transmitter or a faulty transmitter.
