BFT sub bt error 30 - Ado 65 - 12-01-2025
Hi everyone,
So I have a pair of swing gates sat on BFT SUB BT motors, the Thalia P control board is registering error 30, obstacle detection motor 2. Motor 2 is not reaching its open position stopping about 6inch off, the gates then close a little then stop.
I’ve checked for obstacles and they are well greased etc, I’ve undone the triangle valve to release the hydraulics and opened the gate manually but the gates then close only opens so far. I’ve tried to adjust the open position with a 3mm Allen key but can only get a couple of rotations in either direction.
I’ve also tried to get it to learn the stop position where it is but the setup stops when it reaches the position the gate stops and ko shows on the panel
Anyone had this problem, I guess that something internal is malfunctioning?

Thank you for your enquiry.
ER30 relates to an obstacle detection during opening on Motor 2, I would firstly manually release the gates and open and close them to ensure that there is not resistance on the gates themselves and that they do not require servicing or greasing.
If movement is smooth with the above, I would then try and swap the motor connections in the control panel. The reason being if it is a board fault it should swap to ER35 which would ultimately prove that it is a motor fault.
