Help on Loss of Motor Powering Up - ardmhacha24 - 19-10-2024

Hi

For some reason, my motor is not powering up anymore.. I can hear a hmm off the device but hte control board is not ligiht up..

Motor
Nice Run 1500

Control Board
MODEL: RBA3
ITEM: RBA3R10
PR092330627393NIM

I am wondering if there is a fuse that has went as the motor is new - I have checked the 2am fuse that is at the 240v coming in and seems ok, checked the 20a fuse that is at the bottomĀ of the control board and it looks ok ..

I noticed there is circle with a button in middle of the board with the word fuse on it.. How would I go about checkign that? I cant seem to get that out and find any documentation on it?

Appreciate all your help on getting the motor up and running again

Hi,

If the motor is humming, I would check the manual release to the gate/motor. You should not be able to move the gate manually.

It would be worth checking this fuse as this is for the control panel, but I do not think this is going to be the issue. To remove the fuse you would just use a small flathead and turn it in the groove anti clockwise.

I would also check the BLUEBUS LED when this fault occurs. This is because when a fault is present this LED will flash multiple time then pause indicating a fault in the manual.

I hope this helps,

Aiden.

Just a note on these fuseholders.
1. They have a spring underneath them.
2. They are a cylinder with quite fragile metal lugs at the end - DO NOT FORCE or you'll break these lugs which are used to lock the fuseholder in place.

Generally if things aren't seized-up you should be able to gently push these and twist with your thumb in an anti-clockwise direction.
If you do break the fuse holder they can be purchased online from electrical retailers.
