SEA Gate issue - deekay911 - 07-09-2024
Hi! I have a single SEA controlled gate installed in 2019, with the 54001154-59 board. The gate slows to a halt about a meter from the fully closed position then slowly completes the last part to the fully closed position. I assume this is normal and called 'slowdown'? Anyway, about half the time, when the gate reaches the slowdown point it stops and stalls and won't complete the closing. There are no obstacles or hinderences and when it does this if I happen to be standing there and give it a slight nudge, it will complete normal closure. I checked the service manual and the programming instructions look pretty complicated with many parameters to adjust. Anyone have experience of this or hints on how to proceed? Maybe I need to call a SEA service to take a look?
