Genius JA592 issue - fintaneduffy - 10-01-2024 Hi all, hopefully somebody here can help me out. so, recently this gate board has been giving a few issues, wheras it doesnt close fully. I know to press the f button for 3 seconds to re program the sequence of open/close, however when i press this button, both gates open, it does not seem to be giving me the option of holding for 3 seconds. the moment i press button, both gates move open at the same time I am sure this used to, as i reprogrammed it recently with new motors. if the board is at fault, i have no problem replacing it, but would like to see if anybody here had a similar issue before. thanks a lot in advance edit: ds1 switch positions are 1 off 2 off 3 off 4 off 5 off 6 off 7 off 8 on 9 off 10 off 11 on 12 off RE: Genius JA592 issue - benbrooks - 12-01-2024 Hi Thank you for your enquiry. Could you please confirm if there are any accessories wired into the panel, if so what accessories have you got wired in at the moment where the fault is still present. Sometimes we tend to find that it is an accessory throwing up strange faults on these control boards even though the accessory itself may behaving correctly. I would suggest if you have got anything wired in to remove it and link out your safety connections to ensure you can operate the gate fully open and fully closed. Many thanks Ben RE: Genius JA592 issue - fintaneduffy - 12-01-2024 Hi, thanks for your reply. the only things extra that are connected are the photocells and keypad. so i should disconnect these and see then if the board is working correctly? RE: Genius JA592 issue - Michael - 19-01-2024 Hi, That is correct. Just leave the motors connected to the board. Regards Easygates Ltd |
