Replacement Above Ground Mechanism Advice - Amadeus - 29-07-2023 Hi, Great forum, thanks in advance for any help. Currently have an above ground, single arm installation for a 10ft wooden 5 bar gate. It has an electric locking mechanism added. It is a domestic gate, probably opened/closed on average 4 times per day. This is now no longer working, and a replacement is needed, the reason for replacement rather than fixing is for the following reasons:
The time has come for a new gate plus a new opening to be installed. The gate size will be the same in length.
We have another gate with the same mechanism on which does suffer the same issue but far less frequently, I am loathed to change it due to cost, so would require the new gate mechanism and the second gate to be opened on keyfobs with 2 buttons, as we currently have. Apologies if the correct terminology hasn't been used! |
