Hi everyone.. New here.. im a qualified electrician..but never done electric gates before and wouldn't normally touch them, but a builder mate has bought a bft kit and asked me to install it for him at his house, so I've been over today and installed all the cables, connected it up how I think I just need to go back to get power to it
So he's got a bft rigel 6 panel, 2x 240v motors, ive connected these with the caps connected across them in a wall mounted adaptable box at the motor end.
Firstly He's got a pair bft photo cell sensors which I have connected up, but looks like you can connect them in 2 different ways.. Test and no test mode?... Ive connected them up as no test mode(4 wire) but wasn't sure which was the right/best way?..
Secondly hes got a remote open button... ive connected it in 60 and 61 but wasn't sure if this was right?
I know the next headache is going to be programming it.. ? Any tips on this?
