Rigel 5 - second keypad stopped working - HarefieldHse - 13-06-2023
Hi there
I’m a bit baffled. I have a Rigel 5 system with two keypads - one at the gate entrance on either side of two electrified motor driven gates
All has been working fine for 4 years without issue. Until one day the keypad with the camera lost its configuration and required setting up again - which was done by out maintenance company.
A year later the same has happened with the second keypad which is an SRS DC60. It has been programmed and when a correct 4 digit code is entered it appears to go through the motions however doesn’t activate the Rigel to open the gates. Power is showing, the green light appears when the correct code is entered.
When using the other keypad with a correct code - that activates the gates as expected
What am I missing please ?
Both are configured as NO. However I did spot that in the panel with the camera - common is empty however on the keypad not working - there is a common wire connection

Hi,
Have you tried metering the NO and COM, check to see if there is continuity. You could check for continuity between the cables too.
