Need help programming/cloning VX-500U - Shawnturner - 01-12-2017
Hello,
I have a pair of VX-500U radios that work great and I recently picked up another that I would like to program the same way as the other two. I have the CE6 software and have both a USB and regular serial programming cables I bought from KAWA. I’ve tried to read the configuration out of all the radios and although the display says it’s sending the software never receives the download. I’ve tried several computers and after reading other posts I am down to an old Pentium I laptop with nothing but real MSDOS 6.22 and still no luck. Since I don’t want to change any of the frequencies I decided to order up a clone cable and just just take the pc out of the mix but still can’t make it work.
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
