BFT Rigel LUX FC actuators erratic - Berrystead - 31-08-2016
Have just newly installed the above system to open two wooden driveway gates but they are behaving strangely and need I some advise before I go crazy please! I have not installed or programmed any of the safety feature yet as cannot get the basic system working.
The system will operate for maybe 5-6 cycles with the gate 1 opening first and then after short delay gate 2 opens, motors run, gates reach stops and motors stop running then after the programmed time (20seconds) the gates close with gate 2 closing first. Then it starts to go wrong and gate 1 runs through the cycle correctly but gate 2 stays in open position all the time. If you feel the gate 2 actuator motors it is humming but not actually starting the motor.
The only way i can get it to restart is to keep using the remote to start & stop the cycles half way through and eventually gate 2 will close, but then we are back to square one and it will operate a few times then stay open.
I have run through the logic / programme several times and nothing seems an issue as I have tried to keep default programme as much as possible. HELP!!
