Installation Problem - BFT Deimos BT + GSC D MA - boblalux - 27-12-2015 Just set up all parts for installing on my rack sliding gate on a "test bench" in the garage, before properly installing (lamp, IR, aerial) Everything works as it should except ....... When I press button on my gate transmitter MITTO2, and the gate OPENS, the gate does not automatically close later, but when I press button to close gate, it closes, then on its own OPENS after about 10 seconds. So something is working the wrong way around. Do I have to swop around wires, or programm, or, or, or ....? I attach a diagram of the present wiring on to the board in the motor. Thanks for your help. Bob RE: Installation Problem - BFT Deimos BT + GSC D MA - MWJONES - 27-12-2015 May be motor wires wrong way around. Can I just switch them around to try this, without any possible damage ensuing? RE: Installation Problem - BFT Deimos BT + GSC D MA - MWJONES - 27-12-2015 Yes, there is no + or - with motors. Just tried it and swopped the cables 1 and 2 in the diagram........ it works, now it only automatically CLOSES the gate, as it should, but!!!!! Now the Limiting switch only works the wrong way around! ....../. perhaps I should try swopping the wires on the limiting switch????? I just swopped wires 1<->2 and 6<->7, and everything is 100%!! Still don't understand why swopping AC wires can make any difference, but it obviously does. Thanks again. |
