415 24V Forced open by rolling car - mpit - 31-08-2014 Hi, I'm hoping to find someone with experience of FAAC Electromechanical operators. A friend called to ask for my advice after his car rolled into one leaf of a gate set and forcing it open (ironically, the same had happened to the other leaf the previous day!) I have some experience with BFT Hydraulic stuff (which is why he called) but I've never done anything with FAAC or Electromechanical stuff. Is there likely to be a failsafe or something designed to fail? Or can he expect a bill for a new ram + fitting. RE: 415 24V Forced open by rolling car - thm - 01-09-2014 It all depends on what was broken. You can use http://aps.faacgroup.com:8090/?CMD=LOGIN&user=FAAC&pwd=FAAC&lang=ENG to locate spare part numbers for FAAC operators. |
