LA400 gate openers 24v - Tussun - 31-12-2013
Hi, I have just installed the la400 gate openers and can't get them to work! I have error code (7 red blinks) which is issue with photocells, have checked alignment and wiring but no joy. Decided to disconnect them in the hope that I could then test the gates worked but the only way I can get the arms moving is during the setup stage when you press all 3 buttons and then sort the travel distance, after that nothing, remotes don't work even though programmed!
1. Can gates work with out photocells? If so, do I need any jumpers.
2. If error with photocells, does it shut down the circuit board so gates won't work at all?
Any help would be great

I have only seen 7 x flash once, The customer had tried to remove the processor chip from the board and did not reconnect it properly. Once it was refitted all was OK.
Is there any information as to what has happened on site? Power failure, water ingress etc ?
Try disconnecting all power, batteries and mains via the solar input plug.... wait 10 seconds and reconnect mains / solar plug only. Which LEDs come back on and what is the diagnostic reading, if any?
If it is OK then check the battery charge.
