Gate not going quite home - worsy - 03-12-2013

Hi

Toona 4024 Arm
MC824H Control
CISA Electric Lock

Above kit all set up and working on a 5 bar gate. Trouble is that it doesn't quite slot home into the lock. Literally stops millimetres from the end.

Originally I increased the force to 7 (of 8) and that worked, but noticed a week or so later wasn't going home again.

Spoken to tech help and suggested I resist with my hand when in learning mode and that worked yesterday.

Today, again it is not quite going home. Almost like it has relearnt.

Any ideas please?

Hello

Have you got any type of deceleration set on that system?
if you have this will decrease the speed as it comes to a stop,

or

your geometry might not quite be right, is the nose of the arm pointing towards the gate or is it quite level with the gate?

Sav you are a star by just replying. I went out to check the geometry and noticed that one of the bolts through the gate hinge was fouling the arm. Hacksawed the thread off by 2-3 mm and it is perfect.

It was literally touching so I expect that the brackets when done up have settled and moved ever so slightly which caused the issue.
