CAME double gates - one side closes but will not open - crliving - 02-08-2013
Hi. I am new to this forum. We have an older model CAME ATI 167674 external automatic opening system for wing gates. Left side will close using the keyfob but will not open. Can open manually and it closes every time. The right side works fine. We are located in a remote area. Can anyone provide troubleshooting steps to fix what is causing the failure or determine what part needs replacing. Thanks in advance.

This is very odd behavior and there is a problem somewhere on the system. To check whether it is on the board or on the arm, I would swap the motor outputs over on the board. So unplug motor 1 and plug into the motor 2 output and vice versa. If the problem persists on the same leaf, then you will know that it is a problem with the arm. If the problem swaps onto the opposite leaf, then the problem lye's with the control panel.
