How to reset having released - Oswald - 20-07-2013 Need some help please. I have released one of my gate motors to replace some bolts. This was done in the open position. Instruction says to reset move to the closed position and lock. Will the motor think it is open and try to go the wrong way? King regards Oswald RE: How to reset having released - Blakey111 - 22-07-2013 Possibly. This is dependent on which gate system it is you have. But to reset you will need to reprogram the limits anyway which will rectify this! Once you have programmed the open and close limits it will recognise the points to open and close from.
