Hi all.
The other half has asked me to do some research into which motors would be best for our gates.
When we had them installed the company used Erreka motors and they have now died after just 5 years use. The motors have completely rusted inside and our automated gates are now useless!
I'm not technically minded but do know that these motors were best suited to warmer climates and we live quite rural and it gets very cold.
We now need to replace the motors & arms on the gates and do not want to make the mistake of choosin the wrong ones again. Our gates are ony just over 1 meter high. We have been told to use a low voltage system and BFT has been mentioned.
ANY advice would be gratefully received.
