Just Got A Rigel 5 and need HELP!!!! - rapley - 07-10-2012 Hi i'm having problems wiring my new Rigel 5, i use to have the Altair -P but it broke down, i also have the BFT Igea motors which worked well will my old system, but now with the Rigel 5 i cant seem to get the wiring right. I have put the earth into from motor 1 into 5 and blue into 4 and brown into 6, and the same for motor 2 but they open but not close, if i change them over they close but do not open. Has anyone any ideas please. I have a similar problem - 2 new BFT motors (and capacitors) installed onto an existing Rigel 5 control board, one side is fine, the other only moves in one direction on both open & close cycles. That direction is reversed if cables reversed. RE: Just Got A Rigel 5 and need HELP!!!! - Alee - 04-05-2024 Hello! Have you managed to solve the problem? I seem to have the same issue that it can both close but Motor 2 terminals does not open. A new capacitor does not help. Switching the hydraulic arms simply switch the sides (ie the hydraulic arms are working). Many thanks. |
