Excessive play in BFT sub motor - Steve923 - 24-07-2012 Hi, I have a BFT SUB motor that gives about 400mm of play at the edge of the gate when stopped, this is resulting in it not fully closing all of the time. I have tried lifting it and moving it around 1 tooth on the spiggot but then it does not open fully so guess it is positioned correctly. Any ideas?? Thanks, Steve. RE: Excessive play in BFT sub motor - BarkerandGeary - 04-08-2012 I would sugest that if you have this much play in the motor then the seals in the hydraulic jack unit have gone. Thanks, does that mean a new motor? |
