Hi
I have a horman ecomatic garage door operator. It has worked well up to this winter, from when it was fitted I could operate the garage door from within the house approx 20metres away or when driving up to the garage. Now, sometimes it will work when I am 5 metres away but most times I have to be immediately under the operator. I have put new batteries in each remote and tried them but get the same result. The garage door runs very freely with very little resistance. I need someone to point me in the right direction, is it the operator or do I need new remotes or is it something else.

Hi,
This problem could be caused by a few problems - Firstly check the batteries in the remote.
The problem could also be caused by RF interference in the area.
It may sound silly but this can also be caused by something as simple as a new car alarm, as this can also give off interference.
