CB24 Problems - andydday - 30-01-2011 Hi Hopefully somebody can help.... Ive got a CB24 control board for my electric gates (liftmaster 400 arms) that I bought from easygate about 4 years ago. They have been working fine for 4 years and then yesterday they just stopped. Ive checked power to the gates/board and the power and stop lights are steady green. When i press either the remote or put in the gate code, it clicks as if its going to open, the 'single button' light flashes and then does nothing. Im assuming for some reason there is no power then going to the gate arms although if I undo the locking mechanism on the arms themselves and turn them, the microswitch inside registers as the diagnostic light flashes. Im not an electrician or expert - i just followed the instructions to get them working originally, so any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks RE: CB24 Problems - Guest - 02-02-2011 Have you checked the batteries connected to this board? RE: CB24 Problems - easygates - 02-02-2011 Hi, do you have any diagnostic flashes when in normal mode? is there any red lights on the right hand side of the board? if there is you need to check your photocells. Maybe take them apart and make sure there isnt any spiders or dirt. RE: CB24 Problems - Guest - 06-02-2011 I have encountered a lot of problems in this field and I have found that usually a power surge freezes out the oir sensors try unplugging them for a while then plugging back in again this works a lot of the time |
