MC424 - close automatically once open - maaarek - 02-12-2017

Hi,

i have installed Nice MC424 at home, (opening in direction inside), at works perfect.

I have bought the same set to my father, and configured in the same way, but does not work properly. Only difference is that at fathers home gates are configured to be opening in direction outside. But connection of wires should be the same per seller.

Gate itself works well when i stop it while opening using remote. When i hit button, it starts opening, when i hit button again while gate is moving, gate stops. When hit button again, gate will close and will remain closed.

But the problem is when i want to just open it.
In my place, the i hit the button, gate will open, will wait 20 seconds and than will close automatically.

In father house it does not work.
When i hit remote control, gate will open, but just when it will finish opening, gate will start closing automatically, without waiting 20 second.

I have put gate into factory settings, but did not solve the problem.

Any idea what might be wrong?

Marek

Hi Automatic-TC,

it is always with this incorrect behavior. I will check it tomorrow with lower speed and diagnostics.
When exactly i should see diagnostic led blinking? Once system is restarted? Or how to enter diagnostic menu? Or do i undestand it correctly that i should be watching this diagnostic led (P2) during opening of Gate?

One additional question. I understand others, but any idea what does it mean in manual in diagnostic section "M1/2 current sensitivity device triggering"?

Marek
